Torsten Grabs

Torsten's work focuses on Snowflake's data lake, data pipelines and data science workloads as well as Snowflake's developer and partner ecosystem. Before joining Snowflake, Torsten spent more than a decade at Microsoft in the SQL Server product group in Redmond, WA, serving in different roles in software development and product management. Considering himself a “database person” both by education and profession, Torsten enjoys teaching database topics and coaching computer science students, currently at Bellevue College and with prior roles at the University of Washington and ETH Zurich. Torsten holds a PhD in computer science from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, Switzerland.
