Emily Hawkins is currently a Data Engineering Manager at Drizly, focusing on the analytics data platform. Drizly, an Uber company, is a leading alcohol e-commerce and on-demand delivery platform. She has been working with the modern data stack since 2019, implementing tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, and Looker. Emily recently created and teaches a dbt course on co:rise, an online education platform, to help others ramp up on dbt and related analytics engineering skills. Before Drizly, Emily worked in analytics at Wayfair while earning her Masters in Business Analytics from Bentley University. Over the past few years, Emily has given many presentations at analytics conferences such as dbt's Coalesce, Fivetran's MDSCon, Tecton's apply(), Census's Operational Analytics Conference, and more!
